Special Forces - The Special Forces Group, also known as the Green Berets, have a distinctive insignia that incorporates elements of their proud heritage. The crossed arrows were originally worn by Indian Scouts of the 1800's, then were authorized as collar insignia for personnel assigned to the First Special Service Force during World War I.
